This year saw a staggering boost in royalty payments by COTT to its members and international affiliates with a total distribution of over $8.4 million representing a 42 percent increase or $2,507,871.50 over last year’s figure of $5,920,939.01.
Distributions to COTT members from royalties received from international collecting societies realised an overall increase of 148 percent ($932,125.18 in 2007 as compared to $376,497.53 in 2006). Total royalty distributions allocated to COTT members in 2007 amounted to $4,982,131.41 an increase of 46 percent compared to $3,411,162.73 in 2006.
