AFTER successfully filing a lawsuit in the High Court for a chance to compete in the Calypso Fiesta (the semi-finals of the Calypso Monarch), Young Kings winner Roger “Bodyguard” Mohammed was unable to get the judges’ nod to secure a place in the Finals.
However, a disappointed Mohammed told Newsday he would not be seeking any further court action in an attempt to compete in the biggest and most prestigious competition of the entire Carnival season — Calypso Monarch held on Dimanche Gras (Carnival Sunday).

if he was singing against the opposition he would have been allowed in. but because he was singing against the current pnm pm he was not.
