Julie Stone, Toronto Island Mas Band (jstone@look.ca)

I have photographed "Popeye" many times. Our mas is ol'time, and often sailor. (Sadly I'm not there this year.) Although there are many incredible fancy sailors, in the ol'mas competion, he is the best, with his roller skates. He is maintaining the old tradition.

I am especially proud of Jameeka because as a Tranquil allumni, back in 1977 we produced excellent calypso performers during our school concerts. Tranquility, forever!
