Klassic Ruso Judging Night 2018

On Wednesday 24th January, 2018, the Klassic Ruso Calypso Tent hosted their Judges Night at the City Hall Auditorium, 2-4 Knox Street, Port of Spain. A cast of Twenty-four calypsonians competed for a place in the semi-final round of the competition.

Some of the songs included “Wash Them Out” by Kyle ‘K C’ Cowie, “I Playing Police” by Brian London, “Hurricane” by Naheelah ‘Nefta Kojo’ Kojo, “One Shot” by Kenroy ‘Black Prince’ Smith, “Why oh Why” by Anthony ‘All Rounder’ Hendrickson, “Captain Captain” by Dianne ‘Lady Wonder’ Hendrickson, “Stand Still” by Mark ‘Contender’ John and “Stop the Killing” by Derek ‘Benny J’ Jones.

The show’s programme was hosted by Shirlane Hendrickson. Musical accompaniment for the evening was by the Klassic Ruso Orchestra and the Klassic Ruso Diamonds. This tent is managed by Mark ‘Contender’ John.
