Kaisorama 2019 - Extempo & Calypso Monarch Finals

On Thursday 28th February 2019, Renaldo London won the Calypso Monarch title; his uncle Brian London won the Extempo Monarch title at TUCO’s annual Calypso Monarch and Extempo finals. This event was held at the Grand Stand, Queen’s Park, Savannah, Port of Spain.

The programme included calypso and dance performances by the San Juan South Cultural Organisation, limbo dance, Moko Jumbies, Timothy ‘Baron’ Watkins, Sharlan Bailey, Lady Adana, Aaron ‘Voice’ St. Louis, Shurwayne Winchester, David Bereaux, Nadia Batson and Farmer Nappy.

The Extempo finals was hosted by Wendell Etienne and Omari Ashby. The Calypso Monarch finals was hosted by the Midnight Robber (Curtis Goss) and the Pierrot Grenade (Claudette Sinnette).
