Explainer in Concert: Golden Jubilee

On Saturday 10th November, 2018, Calypso icon and Humming Bird Medal (Gold) recipient Winston ‘Explainer’ Henry celebrated his milestone achievements with friends and family at his concert. The annual event, titled “Golden Jubilee” was held at the Government Plaza Auditorium, Richmond Street, Port of Spain. This concert was hosted by his daughter and manager, Stageann Mason of Stagexenterprises Ltd.

The occasion was celebrated with calypso performances by Explainer, Krisson Joseph (son of the leg¬endary Seadley ‘Pen¬guin’ Joseph), Johnny King, Chuck Gordon, Naomi Sinnette, Rondell Donawa, Twiggy, Brian London and Lady Melody.

The show also featured special guest performances by vocalists Noelle Archer, Jenevah Chadband and Gerelle Forbes. Musical accompaniment for the evening was by Len Cummings & D Wailers.
