Icons Calypso Tent Judging Night 2018

On Saturday 27th January, 2018, the Icons Calypso Tent hosted their Judges Night at the Ambassador Hotel, Long Circular Road, St. James. A cast of Twenty-five calypsonians competed for a place in the semi-final round of the competition.

Some of the songs included “Forgetful Man” by Organizer, “We Gone” by Daddy Chinee “What Kinda Man” by Dynamic Diva, “Drama Dem” by Tristan Alleyne, “The Survey” by Heather MacIntosh, “A Nation in Tears” by Sekon Alves and “Hold On” by Yellows.

The show’s programme was hosted by Short Pants, Ronald Prince and Nixon. Musical accompaniment for the evening was by Wayne Guerra and the Icons Melody Makers. The Honey Voices of the Icons chorus-singers included Judy Davis, Candice Antoine-Roberts and Rochelle Antoine. This tent is managed by Weston ‘Cro Cro’ Rawlins.
