NACC Young Kings Calypso Monarch Competition 2018

On Monday 22nd January, 2018, the National Action Cultural Committee hosted their 34th annual Young Kings Competition at the Grand Stand, Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain. Fifteen finalists competed in this year’s competition but Mark ‘The Ladies Man’ Eastman walked away the winner. Some of the competitors included Aaron Duncan, Jalani ‘Lani K’ Kojo, Heaven ‘Snakey’ Charles, Addelon ‘Banjela’ Braveboy and Marvin ‘Mr. King’ Lewis.
The show's programme which was hosted by Brian London and Duane o’Connor also included a guest appearance by 2017 Young Kings winner, Rohan ‘Fireball’ Rohan and an award presentation honouring Mr. Carl ‘Beaver’ Henderson. Musical accompaniment for the evening was by the Earl Knight Services Brass.
