Kaiso Karavan Calypso Tent Judging Night 2018

On Saturday 21st January, 2018, the Kaiso Karavan Calypso Tent judges night was hosted at the Globe Cinema, Green Corner, Park and St. Vincent Streets, Port-of-Spain. A cast of twenty-three calypsonians, some of whom were guest artistes, vied for a place in the semi-final round of the competition.

Some of the songs included: “Failure is Not an Option” by Eunice Peters, The Original de Fosto’s “Journey of the Veterans”, Helon Francis’ Change the Change”, Kerine Williams-Figaro’s “Reparation” and “Dexter ‘The Stinger’ Parsons’ “Chinese Tuition”.

The show's programme was hosted by Mr. Godfrey Pierre. Musical accompaniment for the evening was by the Ruiz Brothers and the Karavan Gems back-up singers. This tent is managed by Johnny King.
