Two of the themes that dominated the night of the 21st January, 2007, at the Revue Tent was the need to bring back many of the traditional values that have been lost and the need to deal with the present social situations of crime and injustice.

No one could really tell that the Calypsonians were singing to a quarter-filled tent because they all gave very commanding performances, never wavering in their commitment to delivering their Calypsos.

From the opening note played by the 'Revue Orchestra' the band never missed a beat, giving good support to the Calypsonians while the Revue Angels provided their strong voices as back-up to the nights' performers.

The MCs of the night were Super Lou and well-known funny man, Wendell Etienne, who kept the audience interested throughout the show. The interplay between the two MC's and the cast was well-timed and added to the overall success of the show.

Skatie received four encores with his rendition of "Can't Have Yuh Cake" taking on all those he considered to have the dubious attitude of wanting to enjoy everything and not wanting to sacrifice anything to achieve their goals. With his trademark style, Skatie delivered a strong performance. Another noteworthy performance came from Organiser who seemed to put together three songs and performed all during his rendition of "Cry Like a Baby" where he dealt with Defosto's Soca Warriors experience, suggesting that in order to get what you want in this country you may have to cry.

The humorous Calypsos were also well-represented via Super Lou who sang "Taking off", Kenson 'Ninja' Neptune who sang "Not My Drinking" and Wendell Etienne's presentation of "Wicked Stepmother".

Lady Tallish with her Calypso titled "Equal Justice"; the first timer, twenty year old Tameika Darius and her rendition of "Through the Eyes of a Gangster"; and Denise Plummer were the three female Calypsonians on the cast that held their own in the arena that night.

When Crazy ended the show with his two popular songs "Cold Sweat" and "One Foot Cock", the audience though small was truly appreciative of the night's entertainment.

Overall, the show was very tight and entertaining with a band and chorus line that gave good support to the Calypsonians. The Calypso Revue gave a good show, continuing in the footsteps of the traditional Calypso tent.

The cast for the night were: Intruder, Wendell Etienne, Olli, Lady Tallish, Kenson 'Ninja' Neptune, Peter 'Exotic' Stanislaus, Devon Seales, Tameika Darius, Leydon 'Organiser' Charles, Denise Plummer, Carlos 'Skatie' James, Super Lou, Timothy 'Baron' Watkins, Ajamu, Starr, 'Yellows', Errol 'Bally' Ballantyne, Francis 'Tallish' Edwards, Hollis 'Chalkdust' Liverpool, Eric 'Pink Panther' Taylor and Edwin 'Crazy' Ayoung.
