If the Panorama semi-final competition is staged at the south-western side of the Queens Park Savannah, Port of Spain, patrons need not worry about seating accommodation, says Pan Trinbago president Patrick Arnold.

No Savannah, no Panorama
CARNIVAL’S premiere pan competition Panorama is in jeopardy as Pan Trinbago insists there will be no finals if the semi-finals cannot take place at the Queen’s Park Savannah.

“If we can’t hold it right here in the Savannah then there can be no finals. Because without a semi-final there can be no finals,” Pan Trinbago president Patrick Arnold declared last evening.

Arnold took this strong position during a heated emergency extraordinary general meeting of all steelband leaders at the Grand Stand, Queen’s Park Savannah.

Indeed, it is the plan to tear down the Grand Stand and replace it with a multi-million dollar Carnival centre that has precipitated the crisis over the staging of Panorama.
