Pan Trinbago president Patrick Arnold has denied that there was any clandestine meeting, last Thursday, between the Carnival Special Groups (SIGs) and Minister of Community Development, Culture and Gender Affairs; Joan Yuille-Williams.

Arnold admitted that he and his fellow SIGs leaders did meet with Yuille-Williams, but insisted he had no idea what the Minister wanted to discuss when she called upon him to meet with her. Neither was he aware that the president of TUCO, Michael "Protector" Leggerton and NCBA vice-chairman, Felix Celestine, would also be at the meeting.
